Invitation to the screening of the film "Eastern Front"

On the 4th of March, 2025, the Embassies of the Czech Republic and Finland in China will present the film "The Eastern Front" at the Finnish Embassy in Beijing. The registration deadline for visitors is on the 28th of February.

From February 18th to March 30th, the "#Peace, Security, Future" Documentary Film Festival will take place in Beijing. @Ukrainian_Messenger, in collaboration with several foreign embassies in China, including the Embassy of Finland and the Embassy of the Czech Republic, will jointly participate in this event. Through the lenses of courageous artists and filmmakers, this festival will shed light on the brutal reality of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. It is more than just a film festival; it is a cry for truth, a tribute to the unyielding spirit, and a stand for justice. It honors those who document history and reveal the true cost of war.

The film "Eastern Front" tells the story of Yevhen and his friends, who voluntarily joined the frontline emergency rescue team on February 24th, 2022. They provided rescue support for the wounded and evacuated them from the frontlines. This film captures the experiences of these young people over six months, filled with drama, despair, fear, hatred, bitterness, love, and, most importantly, an unwavering belief in victory.
