CzechTourism officially reopened its office in Beijing

On Friday 28 February, an event to promote tourism in the Czech Republic was held in Beijing by the CzechTourism agency on the occasion of the reopening of its Beijing office.

The aim of the event was to introduce travel agencies and other guests involved in tourism to the sights, historic cities, spas, gastronomic scene and other aspects for which the Czech Republic is a popular tourist destination.

In their opening speeches, the guests were welcomed by Mr. Martin Hošek, Deputy Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Beijing, and Mr. František Reismüller, Director of the CzechTourism Agency. This was followed by a short seminar on the Czech Republic and tourism by Mr. Lukáš Pokorný, Director of the CzechTourism Representative Office in China, and Ms. Joyce Xu, Manager of the CzechTourism Representative Office in China. They presented the highlights of our country and showed that the Czech Republic is not only Prague, Český Krumlov or Karlovy Vary, the three most popular destinations for Chinese tourists in our country. At the end, Mr. Jiří Frýda, Head of the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Czech Republic, presented the current visa situation for tourist groups and answered many questions.
