The embassy had the privilege of inviting Dr. Richard Pohl, a renowned new generation of Czech pianists, to entertain the audience with classical pieces from well-known Czech musicians including Smetana and Dvorak. As early as the age of 14, Dr. Pole won numerous music awards, including the annual Czech classical music prize „Janacek." To date, he has performed as many as 400 concerts in a variety of formats in Europe and has performed all over the world. At the same time, Dr. Pole also teaches at Chinese universities and has trained many outstanding pianists in China. This concert is not only an artistic enjoyment, but also a beautiful witness of Sino-Czech cultural exchanges.
