Vacancy Post at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bangkok

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bangkok is looking for a new Administrative Officer for the Economic and Commercial Section.
 

Job specification:

  • Daily administrative work at the Embassy office
  • Press monitoring & reviews; economic data collection, analysis/evaluation & presentation (Thailand, Laos, SE Asia)
  • Communication with local & international authorities (MFA, MoC, MoI, FTI, Chambers of Commerce, EU Delegation, UN ESCAP, etc.)
  • Organization of meetings and trips of Embassy staff with focus on economic cooperation, development assistance and R&D affairs
  • Organization of incoming delegations and visits, participation on trade fairs
  • Translations of documents, data sets, press releases
  • Social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) content creation

Knowledge and skills required:

  • Fluent in English and Thai (written and spoken)
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Capability to work efficiently with short notices and tight deadlines
  • Courteous, flexible, good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently on tasks and projects
  • Ability to handle materials with discretion
  • Professional experience in economic & administrative work is an advantage
  • International company and/or Embassy experience is an advantage
  • University degree is required (Economics degree preferable)
