Signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Thailand’s National Anti-Corruption Commission and the Czech Republic’s General Inspectorate of Security Forces (GIBS)

H.E. Mr. Pavel Pitel, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Thailand, attended the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Thailand’s National Anti-Corruption Commission (สำนักงาน ป.ป.ช.) and the Czech Republic’s General Inspectorate of Security Forces (GIBS) as a witness on 16 June 2026. Maj. Gen. Vít Hendrych, Director of GIBS, also attended the ceremony and signed the MoU on behalf of the Czech institution.

The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation in the prevention and suppression of corruption through the exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices, as well as enhancing law enforcement capabilities in accordance with international standards and the principles of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC).

This partnership reflects the shared commitment of the Czech Republic and Thailand to promoting transparency, the rule of law, and good governance. It also marks another important step in further strengthening bilateral relations and fostering closer cooperation between the relevant institutions of both countries.
