The meeting was devoted to the 70^th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe and its impact on the following development in Azerbaijan and Central Europe. Sometimes animated discussion demonstrated that the topic has not lost its topicality. All participants of the event agreed that it would be useful to organize further meetings analyzing other historical issues bringing interesting and sometimes unexpected parallels between Azerbaijani and Central European history.
