Talks in Baku on activities of Visegrad group countries focused on Eastern Partnership countries

On 7-8 June 2012 Ambassador at large on Eastern Partnership of the Czech MFA Petr Mareš and Director of International Visegrad Fund Petr Vágner visited Azerbaijan.
The aim of their visit was to familiarize the representatives of the state administration, academic sphere and the non-governmental sector with the new activities of the Visegrad group countries focused on the Eastern Partnership countries.
Accompanied by the Czech Ambassador Radek Matula and his Deputy Čeněk Hajný they met Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mahmud Mammad-Quliyev, Deputy Minister of Education Gulu Novzurov, First Vice-President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Arif Hashimov , the representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the representatives of the nongovernmental organizations headed by the President of the National NGO Forum of Azerbaijan Rauf Zeyni.
