2nd edition of Ilgaz CD Ski Race at Yıldıztepe was held on Saturday 26 February

Czech Embassy in cooperation with Embassies of Estonia, Finlandia and France, the  Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, the Governorate of Çankırı and the Municipality of Ilgaz organised the 2nd edition of the Ilgaz CD Ski Race at Yıldıztepe on Saturday 26 February. More than 84 skiers and snowboarders of all age categories started in the giant slalom race for which the timing was kindly provided by the Turkish Kayak Federation. The overall winner of the race is, Mete Hidiroğlu of the ODTÜ Ankara ski club. At the medal ceremony, racers and other participants observed a minute of silence to honour the victims of the Russian aggression against Ukraine, no afterparty took place in view of the Russian invasion. The race was supported by the corporate partners Decathlon, Lusti and Škoda Yüce Oto and covered by Anadolu Agency.
