Czech Search and Rescue Team finished its mission in Adiyaman

On 17 February 2023 the Czech Search and Rescue Team finished its mission in Adiyaman before its return to the Czech Republic. In the presence of Director General of the Czech Firefightter´s service  Vladimír Vlček and Ambassador Pavel Vacek, the Czech firefighters delivered a shipment of medical and other humanitarian aid, as well as part of its rescue equipment, to the Turkish institutions. They were also met, together with the commander of the team Jiří Němčík by Deputy Governor of the Adiyaman Province Tunday Sonel, who expressed a gratitude for their valued work resulting, among other, into a rescue of three living persons from below the rubble of buildings destroyed by the earthquake of 6 February 2023.
