
The first part of the joint project “Lessons Against Discrimination” finalized

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ankara, together with the Capacity Development Association, finalized officially on Thursday, May 24, 2018, the first part of the joint project “Lessons Against Discrimination”.
On May 24, 2018, the first part of the joint project “Lessons Against Discrimination” which is being implemented within the Transition Promotion Program financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic was officially closed by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ankara together with representatives of the Capacity Development Association. The project supporting the civil society will continue until the end of October 2018 and has so far presented series of lectures on combating discrimination. The lectures have been attended by students of journalism and media, university professors, civil servants, non-governmental workers and other audience. The closing ceremony of the first part of the project was attended by Mrs. Andrea Kučerová, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Czech Republic, who held a follow-up discussion with the participants on the outcome of the project, future expectations and implementation of the lectures in concrete professional lives of the participants.
The project was signed on March 15, 2018, by H.E. Mr. Pavel Kafka, Ambassador of the Czech Republic, with the non-governmental organization IHOP.
