The Czech Republic and Turkey continue to collaborate on CBRN

The International CBRN (Chemicals, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Threats) Congress was held in Ankara on 05-07 December 2017, organized by AFAD.

The International CBRN (Chemicals, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Threats) Congress was held in Ankara on 05-07 December 2017, organized by AFAD. During the Congress a large number of domestic and foreign scientists and experts shared their knowledge and current developments in the field of CBRN.

On behalf of the Czech Republic, the chief of Prag Fire Brigade Department, Mr. Roman Hlinovský attended the congress and presented integrated rescue systems in the Czech Republic and protection measures against CBRN threats. Beside, in recent years, Czech and Turkish experts had an increasing collaboration in the field. Last year, AFAD CBRN team visited Czech authorities to exchange ideas on effective implementations. On the other hand, Czech manufacturers in the CBRN had the opportunity to introduce and export their products such as threat detection and decontamination equipments to AFAD and Turkish market.
