EU Ambassadors met on 8 November 2018 with Ms Meral Akşener, chairwoman of the opposition IYI Parti. During the meeting were discussed the topics of the upcoming municipal elections in Turkey (March 2019), the economic and social situation in the country, as well as the reflection of the parliamentary and presidential elections in June 2018, with the resulting changes in the institutional structure of the Turkish state.
