Ambassador Petr Štěpánek visited Adana and Mersin

On 28 and 29 January 2026 Ambassador Petr Štěpánek, accompanied by Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Mersin Ufuk Bozkaya, visited the provinces of Adana and Mersin. In Adana, he met with Governor Mustafa Yavuz, discussing local opportunities for Czech entrepreneurs and ways to enhance mutual business cooperation with the Czech Republic. In Mersin, he met Mayor Vahap Secer with whom he discussed ongoing mutual cooperation between Czech and Turkish industries. In both cities, Ambassador Štěpánek also attended meetings with the respective Province Trade and Industry Chambers.
