Visit of the Committee on the Budget to Turkey

Committee on the Budget of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament has paid an official visit to Turkey at the end of April and the begining of May. The Committe was headed by the Vicepresident of the Chamber of Deputies, Mr. Vojtech Filip.
Parliamentarians, who were accompanied by the Chairman of the Board of Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation (EGAP), Jan Prochazka, had a chance to visit Adularya power plant and on this occasion they also met the representatives of Beypazari city. Later on, they met the Deputy Minister of Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources Abdullah Tancan and has led a number of negotiations at the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). The delegation had very fruitful meetings with Salim Çivitçioğlu, the head of Turkish-Czech Interparliamentary Friendship Group, Mustafa Elitaş, the head of Industry, Trade, Energy, Information and Technology Committee, Lütfi Elvan, the head of Budget Committee and lastly they were hosted by Süreyya Sadi Bilgiç, the deputy speaker of TBMM at dinner. The Budget Committee flied to İstanbul to continue their meetings with relevant local authorities.
