Visa and Consular Section of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Abuja is temporarily closed, for technical reasons, from July 1, 2019, until further notice.

In the given period, the Embassy will only provide urgent consular assistance to Czech citizens in need.

Lodging of applications for short-term Schengen visas and national residence permits is suspended completely, as well as verification and superlegalisation of documents, registry agenda and issuing of Czech passports.

Information on the resumption of the Visa and Consular Section activities will be posted here on the Embassy's website.

We kindly ask both Nigerian visa applicants and Czech citizens to follow our website when looking for updates. The Embassy will not be able to respond to any email or telephone queries in this regard, with the exception of urgent consular cases of Czech citizens in need.
