Czech girls winning street dance competition in Cotonou (Benin)

From September 3 till 7, 2019 urban dancers from African and European countries gathered in Benin´s capital Cotonou to take part in the 6th edition of a festival “She Is On Fire” supporting and empowering young women dancers across Africa. For the first time in its history, the competition organised by NGO I AM AFRO witnessed the ascension of two Czech participants to the final. Twins Máka and Káka (Martina and Kateřina Kvasnicová) finally won the whole competition and while in Cotonou they lead a workshop on a new dance style called “litefeet”. The victorious participation of Czech street dancers was made possible thanks to the support of the Czech Embassy in Abuja. Pump it up, girls! Congratulations!
