Ambassador Jiří Slavík has become Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the international agency IRENA

H.E. Jiří Slavík, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the United Arab Emirates, handed over on 13th March 2019 the Letter of Credentials of the Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the International Renewable Energy Agency. The Letter of Credential issued by the Minister of the Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic has been handed over to the hands of Director General of IRENA, H.E. Adnan Z. Amin.
IRENA was established in 2009 as intergovernmental organization that supports countries in their transition to a sustainable energy future, and serves as the principal platform for international co-operation, a centre of excellence, and a repository of policy, technology, resource and financial knowledge on renewable energy.
