On June 12, 2025, was signed in Prague the "Joint Partnership Statement between the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates on the Implementation of Trilateral Development Cooperation with African Countries
in Healthcare Sector Capacity Building". The Joint Partnership Statement was signed on behalf of the Czech side by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health H.E. Vlastimil Válek and on behalf of the Emirati side by Minister of State for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs H.E. Reem al-Hashimi.

This launched the next phase of cooperation, which will bring the implementation of specific projects in selected African countries in the form of the participation of Czech companies
in Emirati projects. Both parties also confirmed their interest in expanding this cooperation
to other B2B sectors such as infrastructure, agriculture and energy or water management. Minister Reem al-Hashimi also participated in talks in Prague with Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský and was the first of a large Emirati delegation to speak at the international security forum Globsec.

The signing of the trilateral cooperation agreement with a strong partner such as the United Arab Emirates reflects the excellent state of Czech-Emirati bilateral relations, opens a unique opportunity for Czech companies to participate in quality projects in Africa, and is the result
of more than a year and a half of hard work of the Czech Embassy in Abu Dhabi, the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Czech Ministry of Health, the non-profit organization Czech Health Technology Institute, Association of Manufacturers and Suppliers of Medical Devices (AVDZP) and on the Emirati side, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of State for Cooperation with African Countries, H.E Sheikh Shahbut Nahyan Al Nahyan.
