The Czech Embassy in Yerevan participated in the annual festival "Yerevan Wine Days 2024" and organized a special gastronomic show in cooperation with restaurant GATA, with Czech chef Václav Plesl, who works in the team of cooks of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. The presentation highlighted the rich culinary traditions of the Czech Republic and fascinated the audience with live cooking.
Chef Václav Plesl amazed the audience with his culinary skills, preparing a menu of traditional Czech dishes, such as "Vepřový vrabec" (pork with potato dumplings and spinach) and "Bramboračka" (mushroom and potato soup). These dishes, deeply rooted in Czech culinary heritage, unveiled the secrets of Czech cuisine.
Besides the culinary delights, guests had the opportunity to taste the famous Czech beer Budweiser Budvar. This beer, provided by our partner "Adamium" LLC, holds a special place in Czech culture as Budvar is the only state-owned brewery in the Czech Republic and is known for its rich flavor and historical significance.
The highlight of the event was the lively participation of the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Armenia, H. E. Mr. Petr Pirunčík. Ambassador Pirunčík shared humorous stories and interesting facts about Czech cuisine and even joined the chef, displaying his own culinary talent.
The presentation was a great success.
