The Czech Exhibition of Contemporary Children’s Book Illustrations Attracted Around 800 Visitors

From May 16 to 24, 2026, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Yangon organized an exhibition presenting book illustrations by ten acclaimed Czech artists. The exhibition, held at AIA Khit in Secretariat Yangon, was attended by approximately 800 visitors.
The exhibition featured graphic samples by ten selected illustrators whose work has received numerous awards: cartoonist Pavel Čech, comic artist Dan Černý, children’s illustrator Lucie Dvořáková, visual artist Renáta Fučíková, illustrator Lenka Jasanská, cartoonist Lucie Lomová, animator Galina Miklínová, illustrator and writer Petr Nikl, visual artist and game developer Jaromír Plachý, and illustrator and writer Vhrsti.
