A/ Priorities of the Czech Embassy in Vilnius:

• To develop the intensive bilateral relations between the Czech Republic and Lithuania;
• To deepen economic cooperation and to encourage the development of trade exchange;
• To conduct a political dialogue, including cooperation on EU and NATO issues; to assist in the preparations for the Lithuanian EU Presidency in 2013;
• To promote the Czech Republic.

B/ Other important tasks:

• To provide consular services to Czech nationals;
• To encourage the development and establishment of projects for cooperation between Czech and Lithuanian towns and regions;
• To cooperate with Belarusian non-governmental and other organizations operating in exile in Lithuania.
