2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development transmitted to the upcoming UN summit for approval

On 1 September 2015, UN General Assembly welcomed the successful conclusion of negotiations on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, until recently known as the post-2015 development agenda.
The document (PDF, 2 MB) was transmitted for adoption by the UN summit taking place in New York on 25-27 September this year. The outcome document of the new agenda was agreed one month earlier in an intergovernmental negotiation, inclusive of civil society organizations and other stakeholders.
