UN Secretary-General for XX. season of the Prague Student Summit

On 6 March 2015 the Secretary-General of the United Nations in his message for the opening ceremony of the final conference of the XX. season of the Prague Student Summit underlined the importance of participation of young people in civic and public life. 

Currently, the world is shaping a new sustainable development agenda, negotiates to conclude an agreement at the climate conference in Paris in December and faces intolerance and conflict in many parts of the world. Empowering young people is certainly a way how to address some of these challenges.
