The Permanent Mission of the Czech Republic to the UN in New York is member of United Nations (UN) in New York. It plays an important role in international affairs through diplomacy, trade, development aid and working with global organizations.

We offer

We offer a post of Driver. Under this post, the recruited person will be attributed functions depending on the needs of the Ambassador Driver. Under this job function the successful candidate will serve as technical and support staff to the Administration Section under the supervision and responsibility of the Ambassadors office and Head of Administration.

Selection Criteria

Minimum Requirements:

• Have legal status or US citizenship
• Good health condition necessary to be a driver
• You have at least a primary education
• Have New York driving licenses A and C
• Good knowledge of New York city roads and landmarks
• Good command of English
• Previous experience of minimum 3 years as a driver
• Have knowledge regarding the maintenance of the office cars (cleaning and technical checks)
• Be aware of and respect the traffic regulation in New York/US
• Be ready to work outside the normal working hours
• Be able to work independently as well as part of a team, under the supervision of the Ambassador office and Head of Administration
