The Czech Republic will present its second voluntary national review during this year’s HLPF

High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) was launched on July 6, 2021. The discussions are dominated by the effects of Covid-19 pandemic on reaching the sustainable development goals. The Czech Republic will present its second voluntary national review of implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development together with other 42 UN member states. The presentation will take place on July 12, 2021 at 11:30 AM.

HLPF is organized annually under the auspices of UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Its goal is to examine the implementation of obligation in the area of sustainable development and provide political recommendation on next steps.

This year during the thematic review of HLPF, emphasis will be placed on these sustainable development goals: 1- No poverty, 2 – Zero hunger, 3- Good health and well-being, 8 – Decent work and economic growth, 10 – Reduced inequalities, 12 – Responsible consumption and production, 13 – Climate action, 16 – Peace, justice and strong institutions and 17 – Partnerships for the goals.
