The Czech Republic Presented Its National Voluntary Review on Sustainable Development on High Level Political Forum

During the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) held from July 10 in New York, the Czech Republic joined other 43 other countries in presenting the national voluntary review on sustainable development. The national voluntary review (VNR), which focuses on the progress and results in implementation of Agenda 2030 for the sustainable development, was presented by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment, Mr. Richard Brabec, on Tuesday July 18. Mrs. Taťána Gregor Brzobohatá from Beauty of Help spoke on behalf of the non-governmental organizations, Mr. Robin Dufek from JRK BioWaste Management spoke on behalf of the business sector.
This year, Forum focused in detail on the review of progress in achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs) 1, 2, 3, 5, 9, 14, and 17. However, the linkages and connections between all 17 SDGs were also assessed.
