The celebrations were attended by many distinguished guests from diplomatic community at the UN and the Consulate General, businessmen and Czech community. Speeches were presented by the Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic at the UN Marie Chatardová, Consul General of the Czech Republic Miroslav Rameš, president of the Bohemian Benevolent & Literary Association Jozef Baláž and the Deputy Commissioner for Policy and Communications from the Mayor’s Office for International Affairs, Julie Bolcer, who delivered a celebratory message from the Mayor of New York.
