President of ECOSOC, H.E. Mrs. Marie Chatardová, addressed high-level meeting on the impact of SDGs on development cooperation

The high-level side event, that took place on September 22nd in New York, included panelist from Member States and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). President pointed out how ECOSOC has been supporting countries towards the path of sustainable development through the Development Cooperation Forum (DCF).
She stressed the role of strategic development cooperation and involvement of different stakeholders when it comes to achieving SDGs, and an important role of young people. President encouraged all parties to engage youth in meaningful ways, because they are the ones touched the most by the 2030 Agenda and they can contribute to the solution with their innovative and transformative thinking.
