President of ECOSOC delivered her closing address at the Sustainable Development Transition Forum 2017

President of ECOSOC, H.E. Marie Chatardová, closed the Sustainable Development Transition Forum 2017 that was convened from October 30th to November 1st in Incheon, Republic of Korea.
The forum has built on its 2016 outcomes and helped creating bridge between 2017 High Level Political Forum's (HLPF) thematic focus of "Eradicating poverty and promoting prosperity in a changing world" and the 2018 HLPF thematic focus of "Transformation towards sustainable and resilient societies”. President of ECOSOC highlighted the role of youth in the transformative process of 2030 Agenda. She also expressed her view on energy as an integral part of sustainable development.
