President of ECOSOC, Ambassador M. Chatardová, addressed the High-Level International Conference on International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development”

Ambassador M. Chatardová, President of the Economic and Social Council of the UN (ECOSOC) addressed the High-Level International Conference on International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development”, which took place between June 20 and June 22, 2018 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

Ambassador Chatardová spoke at the beginning of the conference and she also co-chaired a panel on communication about the importance of water on a global level, where she also shared experiences of the Czech Republic. She has also closed this important conference together with the prime minister of Tajikistan. The conference was attended by heads of states, ministers and representatives of governments from around the world.
