Patrik Eliáš visited the Bohemian National Hall for a fundraiser

Patrik Eliáš visited the Bohemian National Hall for a night of Czech Heritage Celebration. $6000 raised in an auction for his hockey memorabilia was donated to Czech UNICEF for which Mr. Eliáš had become a good-will ambassador in 2006.

During the interview, he spoke about his participation in programs providing vaccines for children in Africa to combat Hepatitis A, his humanitarian travels to Belize as well as his future projects with UNICEF in Rwanda. The same amount - $6000 - was raised for Czech UNICEF in an auction for a wedding dress designed by Iva Pfeiffer, a Czech-Australian fashion designer.
