Opening of the Global Sustainable Technology and Innovation Conference

Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the UN, Marie Chatardová, opened the G-STIC conference, which took place on May 16, 2019 in New York right after the fourth STI Forum.

G-STIC is a global initiative with the aim to speed up the development, transfer and practical use of technology innovations in the area of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The meeting in New York discussed integrated technology solutions and how they help achieving the SDGs in different socio-economic conditions all around the world. M. Chatardová, in her opening speech, presented the main conclusions of the fourth STI Forum, which took place on May 14 and May 15, 2019.
