Movie screening in the ECOSOC Chamber on November 15, 2017

Permanent Mission of the Czech Republic to the United Nations and the President of the UN Economic and Social Council, Ambassador Marie Chatardová are pleased to invite you to join a renowned Czech artist, Ms. Kateřina Šedá, at the occasion of screening a movie about one of her projects.
Movie “Bedrichovice Upon Thames” will be screened on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 6:30 pm in the ECOSOC Chamber at the UN Headquarters. Screening is to be followed by a reception at the UN Visitors Entrance. Please RSVP to rsvp.smny@gmail.com.
Movie about renowned Czech artist Kateřina Šedá who is famous for her socially oriented experiments aimed at diverting their participants from entrenched stereotypes or social isolation. Her project “Bedrichovice Upon Thames” brought citizens of one Czech village together in order to participate in the Tate Modern Gallery exhibition in London. This experiment is a strong testament to the participation of all.
