Czech Republic co-organized a side-event on education fostering science, technology and innovations

Side-event on the role of upbringing and education in advancement of science, technology and innovations organized by the Group of Friends for Education and Lifelong Learning took place on May 14, 2019 at the UN Headquarters in New York as a part of the fourth STI Forum.

Permanent Mission of the Czech Republic, serving as one of the chairs of the group, actively participated in organization of this side-event. One of the panelists was Antonín Fejfar, President of the Council for Sciences of the Czech Academy of Sciences, who introduced specific examples his institution is employing in fostering the development of STI.
