
Czech Minister of Labour and Social Affairs discussing inequalities and gender parity at the UN

Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic, Mrs. Michaela Marksova, visited the UN Headquarters in New York to deliver a keynote speech at a meeting of the Group of Friends of SDG 10.
On January 26-27, 2017, Czech Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, Mrs. Michaela Marksová, paid a visit to the UN HQ. Minister Marksová delivered a keynote speech at a meeting of the Group of Friends of SDG 10, on reducing inequalities, which the Czech Republic co-hosted with Chile. The meeting also benefitted from a presentation of the OECD representative to the UN, Ambassador Bonturi.
Minister Marksová met bilaterally with Deputy Executive Director of UN Women Lakshmi Puri, UNICEF Executive Director Anthony Lake, ILO Special Representative Vinicius Pinheiro, as well as with the Permanent Mission of Colombia regarding the GoF4 Gender Parity. She also visited Barnard College.
