Conclusion of the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development

Last session of the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) held under the leadership of the President of the Economic and Social Council of the UN (ECOSOC), Ambassador M. Chatardová, was concluded by the Secretary-General of the United Nations and subsequently adopted Ministerial Declaration on “Transformation towards sustainable and resilient societies”.

President Chatardová noted that a record of 46 countries voluntarily presented their national reviews and reported great strides in implementing the 2030 Agenda. Nevertheless, she pointed out that we are only at the beginning of the process and that we need more statistics on the most vulnerable. The HLPF 2018 can be considered a great success overall.
