Ambassador M. Chatardová, President of ECOSOC, opened the exhibit advancing the SDGs through science and innovation

Ambassador M. Chatardová, President of Economic and Social Council of the UN (ECOSOC) opened the exhibit named “Innovators advancing the SDGs across the world”, which took place on June 5, 2018 on the sidelines of the Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation.

During her welcome remarks, Ambassador Chatardová stressed that SDGs will be achieved only through collaboration of large number of people, each doing their significant piece in their area of the world and their area of expertise. She praised the innovators featured at the exhibit who are doing exactly that, trying to solve problems of clean water, cooking fuels and other challenges facing the humankind.
