Ambassador M. Chatardová met with the President of the 73. UN GA

Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the UN, Marie Chatardová, together with the Permanent Representative of Timor-Leste to the UN, Maria Helena Lopes De Jesus Pires, as co-facilitators of the alignment process between the agendas of intergovernmental UN bodies and the Agenda 2030, met with the President of the 73rd Session of the UN General Assembly (UN GA), María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés, to inform her about the results of negotiations and its contribution to the currently negotiated resolution on UN GA revitalization process.

Among the main contributions is the call on the UN GA President to identify suggestions on solving any incoherencies and overlaps between the UN GA agenda and Agenda 2030 during the seventy-fourth session in cooperation with the member states and the president of the Economic and Social Council of the UN (ECOSOC). This main point also emphasizes the role of main UN GA Committees in the entire process.
