Ambassador Chatardová spoke during the regional review of the least developed African countries

Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the UN in New York Marie Chatardová spoke as a “lead discussant” on creating a peaceful, just and inclusive society during the regional review of the least developed African countries, which is part of the preparation process for the Fifth UN Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5).

The Czech Republic is a member of the preparatory committee of the LDC5, which will take place on January 23-27, 2020 in Doha, Qatar. The aim of the conference is to review the progress in the implementation of the Istanbul Action Program for the least developed countries between 2011 and 2020 and to adopt an action program for the new decade.
