
Senate President Milan Štěch met with Foreign Minister of Mongolia

On 29 October 2017, Senate President Mr. Milan Štěch held a bilateral meeting in with the new Foreign Minister of Mongolia Mr. Damdiny Tsogtbaatar in Ulaanbaatar, during stopover of Czech delegation of senate and entrepreneurs at the international airport.
Senate President Milan Štěch commended the high level of bilateral relations, recalled the invitation for the Speaker of the State Great Hural to visit the Czech Republic and discussed with the Mongolian Foreign Minister, in particular, the current situation on the Korean Peninsula. A substantial part of the talk was devoted to Czech-Mongolian business relations, which have the potential to develop especially in the field of agriculture, mining, modernization of transport infrastructure, energy and the environment.
Accordingly, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ulaanbaatar is preparing the specific economic diplomacy projects, as well as, the 7th Meeting of Czech-Mongolian Intergovernmental Joint-Committee.
