On 9 May, Europe Day celebrations took place in Tallinn, with representatives of the Czech Embassy also taking part in the event.
The Czech stand attracted many visitors interested in Czech culture, natural heritage, and travelling in the Czech Republic. Many enthusiastically shared their personal experiences and memories connected to the country, often mentioning the Little Mole, a beloved childhood character, as well as Švejk. Visitors had the opportunity to test their knowledge of the Czech Republic through a quiz, taste traditional Czech sweets, and gather inspiration for future travels thanks to promotional materials available at the stand.
The programme also featured speeches by Estonian President Alar Karis and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas. On this occasion, the title of Estonian European of the Year was awarded to Jonatan Vseviov, Secretary General of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
