Free access to the Czech labor market for holders of Taiwanese passports

With effect from 1.3.2025, Taiwanese passport holders have free access to the Czech labor market. When applying for the relevant visa, the change will be reflected as follows:
● Schengen visa for employment purposes – a work permit issued by the Labor Office of the Czech Republic is no longer required to be submitted with the visa application
● Employee card – a vacancy number or a work permit issued by the Labor Office of the Czech Republic is no longer required to be submitted with the visa application
● Blue card – a vacancy number included in the central register of vacancies is still required to be submitted with the visa application
● Intra-company transfer card – the current practice remains unchanged
