The Czech Centres, a contributory organisation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic announce the selection procedure for the position of Project Coordinator & Cultural Production Manager for the office in Taipei (Taiwan)

 Job description:

  • Coordination and support of assigned activities in Taiwan
  • Event Production and Logistics. Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of cultural event production, including venue setup, technical requirements, and supplier coordination.
  • Program Implementation. Support the Director in carrying out the Centre’s cultural program, ensuring all events align with the institution’s mission and yearly plans.
  • Operational Support. Assist in the Centre’s daily operations and facilitate communication with internal teams and external partners. Provision of transportation of exhibitions and their insurance;
  • Partnership Development. Identify and cultivate relationships with cultural institutions, venues, and sponsors to expand the center’s reach and impact.
  • PR. Promoting the Centre’s activities on social networks and websites.
  • Crisis Management and Problem-Solving. Handle last-minute changes, technical issues, and logistical challenges during events and projects.
  • Occasional Administrative Support.
  • A role that encourages personal initiative and creativity, where your ideas and solutions are valued.

 

 Requirements:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Cultural Management, Arts Administration, Event Production, Project Management, or any other a related field. Project coordination experience;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cultural event production and project coordination, preferably in an international setting.
  • Previous experience working with foreign governmental institutions and agencies is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage cultural projects and events from conception to execution.
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong knowledge of local cultural institutions and a well-established professional network in Taiwan is a significant advantage.
  • Team work, ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of the local language at the level of a native speaker is required, along with knowledge of the English language at the advanced level (C1)
  • Basic knowledge of the Czech language and culture is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • Excellent knowledge of working with a PC.
  • Time flexibility;
  • No criminal record
  • The candidate must have permanent residency in Taiwan.
