Czech participation at InnoVEX 2026 in Taipei showcases the strength of Czech Innovation and startup ecosystem

This year, the Czech pavilion was officially opened by the President of the Senate of the Czech Republic, Mr. Miloš Vystrčil, with the participation of the Executive Vice President of TAITRA, Mr. Hui-Li Chiu, highlighting the strong institutional support for Czech Taiwanese innovation cooperation.

The pavilion was organized by CzechInvest in cooperation with the Czech Economic and Cultural Office, and featured a strong lineup of companies, including Gauss Algorithmics, Kapnetix, Celestia Energy, Dronetag, VRgineers, and ESA BIC Czech Republic.

Czech pavilion had the honour to welcome the Prime Minister of Taiwan during a guided tour which was one of the highlights of the event. During his visit, Czech exhibitors had the opportunity to present their products directly to the Taiwanese leadership.

Outside of the exhibition itself, Czech companies also pitched their solutions to international investors, including venture capital funds, at PiStage and within the SMESA pavilion.

This year’s participation was particularly eventful, as the Czech pavilion also witnessed the signing of Memoranda of Understanding between Czech and Taiwanese companies, demonstrating concrete project outcomes and tangible cooperation.

At the very end, the program concluded with a networking event at the Czech pavilion, which brought together Czech business representatives accompanying the President of the Senate and carefully selected Taiwanese partners. The selection of companies for this networking event was done by the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic in cooperation with CIECA.

InnoVEX 2026 once again confirmed the strong potential of Czech-Taiwanese innovation cooperation.
