Ambassador Matula is an experienced diplomat who has held the position of ambassador several times in the past.

The new Czech ambassador's work will be focused on deepening Czech-Swedish cooperation and mutuality in the EU and NATO, with an emphasis on defense, security, and the functioning of the internal market. 

Ambassador Matula's priorities will be to support Czech companies, business partnerships and investments, and to promote cooperation in science, research and innovation, education and culture. In all these areas, the two countries can complement each other advantageously.
