The Ambassador of the Czech Republic visited Sliven and the region

On the 27th of September 2017 the Ambassador of the Czech Republic visited the Mayor of Sliven Mr. Stefan Radev on the occasion of the solemn signing of a contract with the Czech company SOR Libchavy for delivery of 27 new buses for the transport company of the town. With the Bulgarian side, the contract was signed by the Deputy Commercial Director of the Czech company SOR Libchavy - Eng. Jindřich Chudý, with the presence of the commercial representative of the company in Bulgaria - Mr. Emil Kimak.
With the signing of the contract for the supply of new buses, all Sliven's public transport will be serviced by Czech vehicles, since almost 30 years in the town have been used also Czech trolley buses Škoda.
The Czech company SOR Libchavy took advantage of the case and presented to the management of the municipality EBN 8.5, which will be provided for a test period of two months, and it is quite possible that the town of Sliven will be interested in obtaining in the future the most modern vehicle of our time - the electric car.
The event was attended by representatives of the municipality and journalists who took the opportunity to ask questions to the Czech firm.
The mayor of Sliven Mr. Stefan Radev, expressed interest in future cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic and with Czech companies, while the ambassador engaged in participating in the delivery of Czech buses in Sliven in about six months.
