Ms. Fukui is the wife of the former Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Bulgaria. The concert was organized by Czech Centre and Embassy of the Czech Republic in Sofia in cooperation with the Embassy of Japan in Sofia. For this concert Ms. Fukui chose exclusively the pieces of famous czech composers – Bedřich Smetana, Antonín Dvořák, Zdeněk Fibich, Bohuslav Martinů and Josef Suk, that highlighted the „czech component“ of this event. The audinece was represented by members of diplomatic corp in Sofia and by bulgarian friends of both countires.

The concert was opened by the speech of H. E. Mr. Dušan Štrauch, Ambassador of the Czech Republic.
