Czech Ambassador attended an “electrobus” test drive in Vratza

Besides meeting with the local authorities and visiting the town for the first time, the purpose of the Ambassador’s visit in Vratza was also to attend a test drive of the electrobus, which the Czech firm SOR Libchavy granted to company Troleibusen transport  EOOD Vratza for a six months free usage.

Together with the Ambassador, the visit was attended by the director of agency CzechTrade in Bulgaria Mrs. Martina Pařikova, the assistant to the Economical section of the Embassy Mrs. Maria Dunkova, the deputy commercial director of SOR Libchavy Mr. Jindřich Chudý and the authorized representative SOR Libchavy for Bulgaria Mr. Emil Kimák.

At this moment we are in a process of negotiations about buying an electrobus and this could be realized by means of a bigger European project or by a lease payment. The six months test usage is also a possibility for our fellow citizens to get convinced about the efficiency of the electrobuses, because Vratza needs a more comfortable public transport, commented the mayor of the municipality of Vratza Mr. Kalin Kamenov at the official meeting with the Ambassador.

The program of the Ambassador in Vratza continued with an inspection of the bus and a test drive in it to the pass Vratata and a visit in the Regional historic museum, where he had the possibility to see the Rogozen Treasure and the Tower of Kurt Pasha.
