Positive results of economic diplomacy project in May

As a result of the recent assistance from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to support Czech food sector and agriculture, there have been some concrete results at a recent international Food Fair, Seoul Food 2016. For example, a Czech company SEMIX PLUSO is preparing the first delivery of their muesli hearts (Little Hearts) for the Korean market.

In May this year, one of projects of economic diplomacy, prepared by the Czech Embassy in Seoul, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic, have introduced the Czech food industry at the Korea International Trade Fair Seoul Food 2016.

Among our Czech exhibitors was a company SEMIX Pluso, thanks to the aforementioned project and cooperation with trade and economic section of the Embassy, Czech companies have gained important information about the Korean market and contacts with potential business partners in the Republic of Korea.

The result of this collaboration was a confirmed order from a Korean customer, who from the Czech manufacturer ships the first container muesli hearts (Little Hearts). Czech muesli hearts on the Korean market will be introduced in September this year.
Not only SEMIX Pluso, a winemaker called Templar cellars Čejkovice is the second Czech company, which have made a good business results in a very short time after participating in the project of economic diplomacy which is due to be exporting its productions to Korea.
