On Gyeongui Book Street in Seoul, you could see the special exhibition ‘Global Gyeongui Line Book Street with Czech Republic 2022’. Czech Ambassador Gustav Slamečka visited the street himself to enjoy the exhibition and encourage the prosperity of the event.
Along the street were presented Czech cartoons and kids’ books, artworks by famous Czech illustrators, crafts for children, etc. The embassy also offered a pair of Czech traditional costumes, which were exhibited in one of the booths.
Amid this beautiful and clear autumn, the visitors could appreciate the Czech culture and literature while walking along the book street. On the last day of the exhibition the traditional Czech marionette performance took place.
